Terms of use
These terms cover greencardgolf.app while Green Card Golf is in development. They will be replaced with fuller terms before the product launches.
What this site is
An information site for a product that does not exist publicly yet. It describes what Green Card Golf intends to be, and lets you register interest. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and registering does not create an account, reserve anything, or oblige either of us to anything.
What we describe may change
Features, pricing, timing, the syllabus and the name itself are all subject to change. We describe our current intent in good faith, but you should not rely on any of it as a commitment.
What a Green Card is — and is not
- It indicates that the holder has completed and passed our etiquette assessment. That is all it certifies.
- It is not a handicap, a licence to play anywhere, a membership, a qualification recognised by any golfing body, or a guarantee of anyone's conduct or ability.
- Recognising it is entirely voluntary for a club. No club is obliged to accept it, and any decision about access, membership or play remains the club's alone.
Verification
The verification page reports what our register says at the moment of the scan. It is one signal among the several a club would normally use, and it confirms the standing of a licence — not the identity of the person holding the phone. Staff should still match the photo and name to the person in front of them, and use their own judgement.
We aim to keep verification available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If it cannot reach the register, it says so rather than guessing — treat that as "unknown", never as "valid".
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to forge, copy or alter a Green Card or a verification result, to scrape or enumerate licence numbers, or to interfere with the operation of the site. Do not present a card that is not yours.
Content
The text, design, and Green Card name and marks on this site belong to us. You are welcome to link to the site and to quote it with attribution. Please do not reproduce it wholesale or present it as your own.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on anything published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
